A few days ago, my family had dinner at Park's Barbecue, just off of Vermont and Olympic in ktown.

Their best dish is the beef soup (galbi-tang, $8-9), not pictured here. Hands down what I think is the best I've ever had in all of ktown..hell, ever, even all the times I've had that dish at all sorts of restaurants in all sorts of places, korea and vegas too. But their galbi is pretty delicious, although a bit on the pricey end...I think what's pictured here (1 in-bun, which means 1 serving/person) is $22. Charcoal and all.

You have to explicitly ask for a lot of their side dishes, the first time around they didn't give us any kimchi!! We asked, and they told us they had this policy of wanting customers to tell them what side dishes they want, but not knowing what side dishes they had... Anyway, their kimchi and their gak-du-gi (cubed radish kimchi) is pretty damn good.

Parking is hellish around dinnertime, valet is $2 and sort of assholeish with the way they drive and park your car (just my 2 cents). Not much street parking to be found, so meh. Shared strip mall parking, but none of the other businesses (even the other restaurants) really have any customers.

Park's has plenty of space all the time for customers too, they have a huge chunk upstairs for seating, if the bottom section wasn't already big enough. Don't forget to look around, there's a bunch of pics of celebrities who've dined there at some point.
