Apparently, my pirate name is "Mad Jenny Kidd." Don't ask. I am procrastinating like nobody's business. I couldn't get myself to actually sit down and start studying until around 5 p.m. this afternoon, and that only lasted about three hours--the whole "study" time was punctuated by me getting distracted by browsing the internet. Oh maaaan,
Fifth Floor has a new menu up, and
Aqua has a new, non-ghetto website. Will you just take a look at that???
Now THAT is what I call
King Salmon "En Papillote"
Lemon Potato Croquettes, Cipollini Onions, Warm Dill & Caviar Cream
*Droool* I got through Pleadings today, and will be studying Discovery and Adjudication tomorrow at the UCSF library with Hengameh, Adam and Kamyar--Hengameh's stopping by my apartment at 9:20, and then we're going to park it to Glen Park, where Adam'll pick us all up and drive us to the library. We're also planning on running through a bunch of practice tests, to get a feel for the material. I also would like to run through the so-called "Outline from God" to make sure I haven't missed any policy issues, and so I'll be prepared if any come up.
Today was a *beautiful* day outside--so different from two nights ago, which was mad crazy stormin'. Woke up at 6 a.m., and it was pitch black outside. Dragged myself out of bed so I could get to my Crim Exam, which went--if I do say so myself--quite well. Hoping that that will be reflected in the final grade, so I shall reserve ultimate judgment for that time.
Watched an episode of American Dreams after my exam (soooo good--I cried!) while da boys (A, K, & T) played ball downstairs. They all came back upstairs to use the shower and then left to attempt to study--hopefully, they were more successful that I. My brain just can't seem to focus--can't believe I only have one more exam left. But I can't let my brain die on me before I beat that exam into a bloody pulp, so focus! focus!
Borrowed "Bend It Like Beckham" from Miriam tonight---suuuuch a good movie! Will probably watch it in the next couple of days. Watched "The O.C." tonight too--was decent, but not fabulous. Can't wait to get home and just sooooak up the warm glow of the television. After I finish Christmas shopping. And more job apps. Good sweet jesus. Still so much to do, and so little time...or IS there?
I think I'm a bit loopy tonite. Gonna hit the sack soon. God, only two more days of studying and I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE as a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIRD...is the next best THIIIING TOOOOO BEEEEEING, FREEE as a BIIIIRD!
Gotta love those Beatles.
Peace out.
