Some Poetry

Happy late Valentines Day! Because if you're reading this then I love you!

Yeah, so anyway, I was looking through the files on my computer the other day and found a load of old poetry that I'd written ages ago. I found it really entertaining reading it all again, and I don't know if any of them are any good, but I'll post some of them here so you can see :)

City Day

Shimmering it is
Light off mirror-like windows
Buzz of life below

City Night

Electric light shines golden
Cars scuttle with glowing eyes
Surrounded by dark

Storm Band

Blue turns to black as the drummers roll in
Ready for rocking the heavens
Crashing their cymbals, flashing their lights
Boom goes the drum kit of the up-world
They shake up the heavens 'till cloud drops fall down
The bass holds the note, and the tumble keeps rumbling
A timpani rolls
The coda:
A crashing
    Flashing
        Rumbling
            Grumbling
                  Roaring
                      Booming
                           Bashing
                                Thundering Grand Finale
The curtain falls, slowly drifting away
Leaving the soft rain pattering
Like applause.

Edit: For some reason there are two links. I'm not sure why, and I can't delete one.
