Matt, currently sporting a dog tail and ears, sat on the counter, near the coffee pot, in the kitchen. He was, as he was almost always doing when in the kitchen, sipping from a mug of coffee and idly watching over the room. Mostly out of lack of anything better to do and unwillingness to lock himself away in his tent, at least for awhile.

"Hey Matt."

He trots over and pulls himself (with some difficulty) up onto the counter, shoving his nose against Matt's ear and tilting his head. At least his nose isn't wet?

He pulled back as Puppy's nose starts to invade his ear, lips peeling back a bit, before relaxing and tilting his head so the other Matt can get a better look/smell/whatever he's trying to do.
((Lol. I keep just wanted to call Puppy 'Matt,' but with me doing third person that'd get too confusing ^^;))

( ooc: hehe, yeah, I was gonna call him Matt too but was like "Oh wait" )

Well, no, it didn't--or, that is, it wouldn't have in his old world. But it seemed to work that way in the world the half-cats and what nots were from, so why not Puppy's world?
"How've you been, kid?"

"Uhh, okay, been playin' Doki Doki Majo Shinpan...you know...that game where you touch girls ta see if they're witches. S'only in japanese though so I don't get half of what they're sayin...not like it matters," he snerks, tail swishing.

He finished off his coffee and put the mug down, lighting up a cigarette to replace it. "...do you get, like, dog instincts sometimes?" Matt was pretty sure Puppy did but he didn't want to assume...out loud.

"I guess, I mean...I do lotsa stuff humans don't do. It's kinna hard to tell the difference even when yer told 'em," he clasps his hands around the front of his boots and leaned forward, staring at Matt's ears.

"I guess that makes sense...I wouldn't know what 'human instincts' were unless someone pointed them out to me."
He canted his head again, watching Puppy and perking an ear forward.
Perhaps it should be noted that he was holding his tail a bit higher than he had been before Puppy came in. Or perhaps it didn't really matter.

"Hehe, me neither. Doesn't really matter if ya ask me," he shrugged tail continuing to swish back and forth. "Hey, has anybody scratched yer ears yet?" he inquired randomly, ears perked.
Reply
"Nobody's scratched anywhere else."
((...my use of 'Nobody' there makes me want to say Axel rubbed his belly or something ^^; But Axel wouldn't have anyway))
