(no subject)
Today I found out that my parents bought me a Canon Digital Rebel for Christmas, but I'm unsure how I feel about that. I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything, but I'm really not a fan of digital cameras. Regardless of how conveinient they happen to be, digital can never replace the charm of film and working in the darkroom. The fact that it's an SLR is fantastic, although I have a feeling I won't be getting any of the film cameras I had mentioned. Oh well, I'll probably end up loving it afterall, so I probably shouldn't rant about it all too much. Gah... We'll have to see what happens.

Last night at work, we were getting rather annoyed by the trailers, so we watched Christmas movies all night. Jim put in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and then I picked out the Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, and the Polar Express. Aw, sometimes working at a video store has its perks (regardless of how corrupt Blockbuster may be)!
Random fact: Did you know that Joaquin Pheonix changed his name to "Leaf" as a child, since no one could pronouce his birth name (Waa-keen)?
