I was wondering about that, actually! I used to read a lot of D/Hr, not so much anymore, but for some reason, I mainly came across angst. In the D/G, there's a lot of smut :P

Slashers think D/Hr is all fluff. :P I think we know ourselves for angst and smut as well...

Which, if I think about it, is funny, because I think most slash is fluff, and most D/G, and R/Hr is ALL fluff. Sad but true. I'm so uncouth.

Funny you should mention a D/G rec list :P I've been compiling one lately, and since you mentioned it, I thought I'd just go ahead and make it a public post (I'd been working on it in a private post). You can find it here.

There are some fics in the ship that are known as classics, the ones most popular and well-loved by the majority, but I haven't listed all of those for whatever reason. Just my favorites are so far listed :)

To start you off, I would reccomend:

A Dazzeling Synthesis of Sun and Star by inkpuddle for angst,

Off And On by mynuet for truly loving D/G and some smut,

Why I'm Glad Ginny Is Dating Draco Malfoy by sarea_okelani, because it is a classic, because it is hilarious, from the point of Ron, and just love. Also, by the same author, When I'm Here, for a combination of smutty angst.

Those are just one-shots I recced, however, aimed at getting people to like D/G :D Novels are listed as well, and Our Winter by jade_okelani is my favorite.

Ack, looking back, sorry I've overloaded D/G on you *sheepish* But I hope you find something you like anyway :)

You're both very, very welcome for all the recs :) The long one...I'm really eager to hear what you think on it just because I consider it the classic of D/G fandom - partly because I read it first and mostly because it's just that good. But I'm biased :P It's LONG though.
