Fics and a Drabble
onecrimsontie has posted her second Harry Potter fic ever. Now, I'm not entirely convinced it's only her second fic, but it is the second fic she's ever posted. You do not want to miss this fic. Trust me on this. "Today" combines humor and wit with melancholy undertones. It's a Trio one-shot, and just - read it. I can't stress this enough.
secondservings, friends. Chapter 2 of "The Orli Fic" is up. After that there's chapter 3 (okay, well, that was a duh statement) and then I'm up next with three chapters of "The Sean Fic" before we get into "Daily Grind," which Jenn and I are both really psyched about. So head on over :) As always, feedback would be so appreciated and loved.
Then, a timed 3 minute prompt from Leda: a fight between the Marauders, no slash. I just realized that it's mostly heavy on dialogue. Whoops. Apparently, I am not one of those fast thinkers/writers.
About seven messed up AIM messages later, you get this:
Sirius tried to tell James, but James had rounded on him, anger flashing in his eyes.
“No, Sirius,” James had snapped. “Sirius, I’ve never disbelieved you. Ever. I’ve always listened to you. I’ve always trusted you, and I’ve always believed in you. But you won’t ever get me to believe that Moony is a traitor.”
Sirius clenched his fists. “For Merlin’s sake, you know I love Moony. I’m not saying he is, Prongs, I’m saying - ”
“You’re asking me to think about it!” James had been dogged, his face pained. “Don’t, Sirius! Don’t even think it. It won’t be one of us. I know you all too well.”
My first Marauders thing. They're hard to write. I got into Harry Potter fan fiction for James/Lily and ended up with Draco/Ginny. Can't say I'm bothered by it :)
