So, the event I attended last week was not a success and Dad decided to terminate the contract with said herbs supplier who tried to impress us. Said supplier then fired the people they deemed responsible for the fiasco, but who actually weren't (I'd blame their events planners, personally - I mean, the Castor and Pollux is utter crap and we all know it). I hired them, and only a small amount of that was NOT because I wanted to piss off their former employers. So good things come from bad after all, which is nice to know.
Also nice to know is that I got all my stuff back in the end, most of it didn't go far. Whoever found my cat overfed her a bit but she's back to normal now.
Mallory (my PA who went on maternity leave) had her baby and I want to send flowers, but I can't think what would be appropriate for births. Flowers aren't really my forte. Help?
Finally, I have a date next Friday night. Should be interesting...
