Bidding update, offer
Just wanted to say thanks to those who have bid on me over at Help Haiti, and to add an addendum to my offer:
I will write a story (minimum 1,000 words) for everyone who has bid $50 (and is willing to donate in exchange for a story) or more. For the winner, I will also upload a soundtrack for their story, with accompanying cover art.
You guys are awesome - the more I read about what's happened/happening in Haiti, the more I want to help - I've donated to the Red Cross and wish I had more to give. :-/ My stepmother the nurse is trying to figure out if she can do a one-month stint there to help, working for the Red Cross or another organization; I'll worry about her if she goes, but think she's amazing for even considering it.
I don't have any medical skills, but hey - I can write fanfic. And even if nobody else bids, I would love to write stories for those of you who have bid so far, if you're willing to donate, still. :-)
