LORD, flist.
I have drunk (and I do mean DRUNK) most of a v. nice bottle of pinot noir (I had one glass last night and the rest tonight). And had dinner with a bunch of fabulous people. GOD. It was fun. And - FUN. This is the Friday Night Group - basically the same people my parents (dad and stepmom) have been having dinner with for ten years - or more - straight. PLUS NOW their kids: us and another pair at least. So: we talked POLITICS and RELIGION and JOKES and oh my god, so fun. Now we're home and Mr Pi (the only sober one in the bunch) has just made sure that we'll get Top Gear (because I talked about my UNDYING LOVE after most of a bottle of wine, oh I love him so) and did I mention that I LOVE HIM? I DO.
