Ooh, that's nice!
Okay, do I really have to say this?
The JeffxAnnie tension in Community is killing me! Of course he wouldn't go see her after that very obviously cliché run-in-the-rain, but come on! Come ON! They have been... chasing each for at least 5 episodes! I'm frustrated!
Also there was a distinct lack of Troy&Abed which does NOT make me tingle-tingle AT ALL.
Interesting thing though: Abed seems like he's everyone's go-to. That sounds like something I should insert into my FIC. Yes, you read well. It's AnniexAbed, it's in progress, and it's very hard to write! Yay!
On other news, I just went to see Arietty with some friends, and although the story is a bit flat, the universe is really nice and vivid, and made me want to write some fic. Remember that AU I wrote in the summer, the one with the toys? At one point, Junho meets a Lilliputian, and it goes like this:
“Don't freak out,” squeals a voice. “You're gonna crush us.”
Junho peers down to see a tiny man, barely the size of his hand, dressed in bright colors, holding the reins of a fat, snowy-white rat. Junho notices the silver spurs at the heels of his boots.
Well this movie made me want to exploit this a little bit more - but this time set in the modern world, where tiny!Jiyong would meet Seunghyun-the-human.
Along with Arietty, there were several trailers that looked quite yummy: amongst others, Guillaume Canet and Keira Knightley in the same movie, yes, together, and him talking English with this delightful French accent, mm: Last Night; still with Keira Knightley, something that looks really great: Never Let Me Go (note to self: buy the book).
Oh, and I have this subway fic (GTOP) that's coming along pretty well: I mostly write while in the metro, and it turns out quite good...
