This is something I wrote last night (so SPOILERS for 2x02), and I'll just copy and paste it here. =)

Concerning West being a creepy stalker:
At first in 2x01 when he was outside Claire's bedroom, yes, I was a tad creeped out. But I've been thinking about it, and consider it from West's POV. Unless he comes from a family of heroes (and even then) he doesn't know many other heroes, or any. He probably thinks he's a little bizarre and is freaked out about it all like Claire and the rest of our heroes are. First day of school and there is a new girl in his science and gym class. She's cute and he is intrigued by her. He can tell she is hiding something about herself. He's out for his evening fly (;D) and he stops by her window. Honestly, if you liked someone and you had West's abilities you would do the same. I doubt he was there for long, just a minute, but he heard enough to confirm that something was definitely different about her. Could there really be another teenager like him? And a cute girl for that matter? The next day (? or soon thereafter) in science class the girl is overly excited about lizards regrowing limbs and the thought that humans could be evolving. This is too much, he has to get her to confess to him that she is different, too! That night he is bringing over Doctor Suresh's book when he sees Claire cut off her toe... and sees that it regrows. West takes off, leaving the book on the ground. I bet he was a little freaked out (she CUT off her TOE and it GREW BACK). He had to get out of there to sort through all his different emotions. A. a little nausea and B. 'omg she's like meee!' =D
