a letter from a special person...I cryed all day

What can i say? I know that i havent been the most communicative lately, but well, given my circumstances... Last i talked to you, i was in the MSG school, and ready to leave to report to finland for security duty at the embassy. the day before i was to fly out of the US, i was involved in a really bad car accident. I severly lacerated my liver, and broke two vertebrae in my lower back. Since then i have endured several surgeries, and non-stop pain. I am now up and about, with a supply of narcotic painkillers, and a back brace. I feel like crap for not being able to get ahold of you and let you know, as my cellphone with your numbers in it was destroyed in the accident. I am sure that you have someone special in your life by now, I could not have hoped that someone as completely amazing as you would be single for so long... however, i would love to be able to at least be friends and talk with you, even if just by e-mail. I have arranged with my family that after i am able to sit comfortably for long periods, we will be traveling to europe for a week or two as a vacation, just to do some sightseeing and whatnot. If you would want to, i would push to visit wherever you happend to be living, and I would love to see you, even if just for lunch... I know that i am hoping for a lot, but at least i would love to hear from you, and know that you are doing ok.
Daniella, I have never stopped loving you. You are completely amazing, even though you are a turd. I sincerely hope that we can be friends, and you never know... with my injury I will be most likely be medically discharged from the Marine Corps, and will be receiving full pay and benefits for life... so i would have plenty of time to travel abroad and visit old friends, and (hopefully) get re-aquainted. That is all for now...
please write back and let me know how you feel about us, or me visiting, i mean hey, if nothing else, its a free lunch with an old friend...
