found this hidden between practiced cursive and letter drafts:
"we grew our hair out. we looked at birds. we sat on docks. we yelled at passing cars. we grew on eachother. we turned on eachother. we turned pegs and plucked strings. we stuffed our heels and we got taller. we thought about TV and soda and brunettes and we remembered less. we had dreams and hearts and girls and toys and tricks. we drew monsters and women and tropical places. we grew things on our back porch. we made bets. we tricked our parents. we gave our favorite things away. we took our spiders out in jars. we ran our fingers throug dirty things. we sang ourselves to sleep."
