Problems with the heat and sunburn

Well, yesterday was my softball league's equalizer tournament. The first game went well, even though we lost and since we did we had a two hour plus gap until our next game. It was hot and the sun was shining bright. I drank a lot of water and tried to stay in the shade as much as possible. So the second game starts and I pitch two innings and get a couple of good hits in at bat. After the game I almost fall over due to dizziness, heat, headache, pounding heartbeat, etc. I go and cool down in my car for about 10 minutes before carefully driving home. Then after a cool shower I lie down to try to rest. Susan and her son Evan came over to check on me for 30-40 minutes which was nice. However, the last 16 hours or so as a whole have been horrible. My headache comes and goes, my whole body aches, had eye light sensitivity and for a while I had chills on and off. Just tossed and turned in bed. Still have the headache and body aches, but at least my body's temp and eyes seem to be better. Found out when I got home that my ears, neck, face and hands were a nice shade of red from the sun. So a fun, but tiring, day did me in for the weekend and now I am working on recovery.
