3 years later...
It just rolled midnight a little bit ago. Three years ago I was at the Holiday Inn in Amherst. Getting ready to go up to MEPS for the final swearing in and shipping out to basic combat training. Three years ago I began my life in the Army. I went to training, and more training, and then Japan, and now I'm at Fort Hood getting ready to deploy. I'm not a sergeant yet though I am hopeful. I have proved myself many times over. I continue to work on the areas I am weak in. I'm going to WLC soon if everything stays on schedule. Depending on how things go I'll drop my warrant packet in the near future. I may re-enlist when I'm in the sandbox. I still don't know if this will be my career. I am halfway through my contract as of now.
I'm sure I wanted to write more and most of it escapes me as I am tired. So to sleep I go.
