hello
I got up early today, like 8:30, cause I'm sick and my nose was all stuffy. Haha that's a pleasant way to start out a journal entry. Well I'm lying in bed right now and Jimmy's playing his guitar so he can record his new song to send to the rest of the band. My mom arrives in Chicago today and we're all going out do dinner tonight, including Jimmy's brother Jon. It's supposed to be all thunderstormy tonight so we'll see how that goes. I go home next week without Jimmy :( . I still have homework to do and and way behind on my readings so I'll guess I'll catch up in MA. I've been slacking off at work lately, not doing homework. Yes I have the easiest job in the world and I just go there to do my homework.
Last weekend was fun. Friday night Jimmy and I went to the Emily Jane Powers/Shoplifter show at DePaul. It was tre cool. Jimmy also had a show on Saturday night at Bar Vertigo where they were breaking in their new guitarist, Brenden. It was a good old rock show. One Light Out and Johnny Rev were playing with them. I really like One Light Out, they're some cool guys. I can't wait till Capital Eye gets back in the studio to finish up their vocal tracks so we can start busting out those Aritao samplers.
This semester is going good so far. I only have three classes. I gotta get ready for next year, my last year at Columbia. Oh and I'm also taking one summer course and working as much as I can to get some money. But all in all, just like everyone else I just want to stop going to school and go back to living completely off of my parents. I know I HAVE to graduate. My whole entire family wants me to because no one else in my family so far has. I mean my cousin Eleanor is the same age and collegic status as me but we haven't seen her in a few years because of issues with her dad. Her parents are going through a divorse and my uncle/aunt and kids don't go to family funtions anymore. The same thing happened with my cousin Mike, whom I never saw for about 14 years. At least now me and him are myspace friends. My pepere (grandfather) really misses him, cause Mike only got in touch with my parents and even has never met my cousins who are his half-siblings. Haha ohh depressing entry.
Change of subject! I have a Shoplifter photoshoot tomorrow. woo! Alright I'll all tell my mom you said hi.
