This was really sweet. The banter was a joy to witness. James strikes me as the sort that would remember something of that signifigance (first kiss in public). ;)

(Maybe it was because it's Friday or the fact that I'm literally hanging on through the end of work simply because caffeine and coffee exist, but it took me about 2/3 of this story to realize that they weren't decorating for Christmas, the thinking of which had me believing you'd somehow gotten Harry's age wrong when you really hadn't. Sorry...you were right on. *sheepish grin*)

*huge grin* Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the banter between them. All the signs were there before they got together that they could get on that way - even if the tone did change somewhat once they did!

(No worries, I was wanting it to be a bit confusing. I hoped it wouldn't be clear till the end what they were actually decorating for, and leading readers to believe it could be Christmas was my idea. As you say, Harry's age is the reason it couldn't work, and also in a way why it does work to write it that way. I'm like you, Friday - end of the week, only just hung on, but glad that work is out of the way till Tuesday now *cheers*, so if this is sounding garbled, that's my reason why!)

Thank you again!

While not normally an emotional person, how much do I want to cry when I see pictures of baby Harry and parents... *sniff*

I'd say your one-shot was a success, then! I'm infamous for trying to imagine all possible outcomes so that I can think myself clever later. ;) Not quite, but I do have a knack for predicting 1-3 details within a given episode of Lost.

The bored part of me this Friday afternoon had me wondering more about you and following links to your userinfo, which is where I saw you also have chocolate as one of your interests. So, this icon's dedicated to you. (oh, and awesome James and Lily dolls you have there...from...chocolate_limes?)

The real question is: Is this response a result of too much or not enough caffeine? ;] If I only knew. I'm going for another cup of coffee just in case it's the second.

Heee, chocolate! The best I could do to come close to your icon was by switching to my very boring personal journal, so here I am ( ... )

Very sweet and oh-so-innocent.

Thank you! Maybe a bit too innocent in retrospect, but hopefully the calm before the storm thing kicks in when you're about to get a visit from the green light yielder. I'm sure Dumbledore would have told them to be positive once they were going into hiding, anyway! Thank you again.

Loved it! You're great at writing their relationship as husband and wife and as parents very well. :)

Initially I wanted to apply for just Lily/James, but I'm glad now that they'd been taken and I added Harry into the mix. It's nice to have something very different to write about, thinking about the things they'd have had to content with, etc at a very difficult time.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

What a nice way to have a weekend. I'm also too tired from work, but this just makes up for it.:)

Your James and Lily, and Harry dynamic is just brilliant as always.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I have another quite, quite different one to post later on over the weekend - a real contrast. *tempts tantalisingly*

Work is evil sometimes, but then again I didn't mind Thursday as it was the monthly pay day! Hooray for pay days.

I know this is a bit impolite, but I'm very curious. What do you do? I really can't imagine it. :)

It's not impolite at all. Curiosity is a good thing! I work for an examinations board, so as you can imagine it is a really busy time at the moment with everyone taking their exams and having them marked before the results can be posted. In a few weeks I've got my second stretch this session of twelve straight days working long hours which is knackering, and sadly means no fic writing. Awwwww!

Another J/L+H about to be posted now though!

Icon love!

Thank you very much for enjoying it. I always try and make the endings count for something if I can, so that you said about this one is fantastic! Thank you again.
