Reflection "Part #1"

Jan 27, 2006 19:48

As you may be realizing that I am starting my "actual reflection" early(in fact; to be exact, it is being started 9 hours and 25 minutes early).
If some of you are asking the question of "why so early?", I will say this once and only once... "I feel somewhat obligated to start it early, and I feel that this will become a series of short and long blog posts alike. Some entries will be as a journal entry, and then some may be deep personal reflection on important issues in my life."
"So I ask y'all to bare with me, and have the utmost amount of patience, for this (Reflection Period) could take all year, however, it could take months or weeks."

"Reflection Entry #1"
"Music"
====================================================
Music.
The very word itself makes my mind sworm with all sorts of thoughts; and usually when listening to(certain types of) music, my body is taken over by great and wonderful sensations and feelings; especially the following music genres;

Rave Music:
Trance, House, Techno, Remixes, Drum & Bass, Happy Hardcore, and Foriegn Techno/Trance.
The genres above have the psycological as well as the metaphysical ability to awaken the child within us all. This I know from personal experience, for, the first time that I attended a rave... When I arrived at the rave(EDC '05), I was sober and I walked into one of the buildings where music was being spun by a DJ; my first thoughts were, "Damn, this shit is too loud! How do people deal with the noise?" It took a "White Dove" and my friends to convince me that, "At a rave, It is the people around you that make you enjoy your roll( if you like doing xtc), it is the xtc that makes the noise from the music tolerable, and once the music becomes tolerable, you forget yourself and you become as a little child again, and suddenly, everything that happens thereafter, seems like fun and makes you happy."
The moral of this passage is this, "Music is Life; it is the sound of a fast pased world being slowed down to the speed that you feel the most comfortable with. That is why music has the popwer to soothe the mind, heart and soul. It is the oldest remedy for the human body known to man. Use it, don't abuse it, and never forget it.
