No Sunshine Wasted
From tearing out interior walls of my house to cleaning out the ivy-ridden border strips between us and the neighbors, not a minute of the last several sunny days was wasted.
I think I did reasonably well enough on my mid-terms, even though the actual tests took a lot longer than I expected of myself. I did take to heart the old rules of answer fast, get through them all, then go back with your extra time to check your answers. Three days to study hash tables and arrays was not nearly enough prior to the test, but oh well... that's how it goes sometimes.
Toby (my horse) has been off of steroids for his lung issues for four days now without incident. I'm hoping that he will make it through the required 3 week break without another flare-up, but with the rain coming and how wet the farm is out there I have my doubts. If he makes it, then it is back to training for both of us. If not, then he gets put back on a maintenance dose and moved to a retirement farm where he gets to live the rest of his life comfortably and grow old and fat.
