I had to take a pre-assessment test for my CS class today.
5 of the 10 questions were solving math problems or logic problems of some kind, which were pretty straightforward.
5 of the 10 questions required that I provide code samples in a programming language, and the suggested languages were Java or JavaScript.
1 of them I answered in Fortran4.
4 of them I answered in BASIC. Not Visual Basic, but -BASIC-.
I hope the instructor has a sense of humor.
