Art project requesting submissions... from you, my dear friends...
Ha! I say that like I am good at art or something. I have won a fair amount of awards in my past, but a lot had to do with writing. Anyhow, inspired by somethings my friends have been doing and my current 'why do I bother getting out of bed' attitude, I've decided to work on something. Usually when I get antsy or emo like this, a quilt is the outcome. However, at this point my craft table is being not quite so cleverly disguised as my kitchen table (no really, it looks like a tarot card reading table since I used extra fabric from aforementioned quilting that included stars).
I digress. The purpose of this post is to solicit pictures of my friends in order to make a collage out of people and things that give me day-to-day inspiration. While I do have a good collection of pictures of my friends, I thought it would be better if I had the pictures of yourself that you liked best. You can submit one or multiple (there's no rule that there can only be one picture of each friend). This will mainly be for my eyes only (I plan on making the collage and hanging it in my room) so I will not post your pictures on the internet. Read into that what you will.
Other than that, if you're interested (which if you're my friend internet or irl, I hope you are interested). Please email them to apositivevoice at gmail dot c o m with the subject line: **pictures for the project**.
