What a day!
Wicked day. Totally.
Got up at 8:40 to get ready for another day of work. Third day in a row, the first 2 were full day's. bloody 9:30 to 5:30. i was working with a uni student called Colin, he's really cool. One of the tallest guys i know and he likes Tool. So for the first 2 days we were making cross-overs, just sitting there like sweat-shop kids cutting wires, soldering, attaching stuff to mdf boards... ugh boring. However the last stuff we did on wednesday and what we did all of today (9:30-12:30 today) was gluing together speakers for a customer and for ones that we are getting sprayed fancy like for display. That was fun and a cool new thing to do.
So we finished around 1 today because we took breaks while Aaron went away to buy clamps and a sander and stuff. And when we were done Aaron bought us subway meals because of how well we had worked for the 3 days, making soo many cross-overs and all. All subway tastes the same though. 'generic sauce flavour' Marcus said. it's been cool working while he was at work too. DAMNIT i fucking want his job. he sits around all day, listening to the wicked music we put on, playing World of Warcraft and talking on trillian. every now and then he gets an order so he takes a trip down to the post-office before returning to 'work' ie games. he's such a wicked brother though, so much fun to be around.
what else. o yeah on tuesday night alex came over after his work. unfortunately alice and her scumbag mate shae were home. so alex bummed LOTS AND LOTS of weed off them, in exchange for a quarter pounder at maccas. that was cool, we went through the drive-through on his bike. but yeah, he got stoned. which took a long time and lots of weed since the weed was mega poor. (a more technical explanation is that it was all stem and leaf, no buds). then we played f-zero gx till 1:30. we made uber cool ships and raced them. I made a wicked alien looking one with purple paint and yellow decals made to look like misplaced lightning or something. it looks fucking cool. the other looks like a fighter-jet with a very tear shaped cockpit. it's red and black with coool decals that make it look more like a fighter. alex's look like a funny bird thing with checkered decals like a racing horse, and a funny little ship with dice on the wings. fun fun! i always beat him ;) even when he hasnt been smoking lol.
and today! i got away from work at 2, went to a wholesaler near innaloo and bought a new graphics card (radeon 9200se for $60? fuck yeah) and got a free motherboard from them. all good, and i dismanteled my comp. unfortunately! FUCK! my RAM sticks dont fit into the new motherboard! >.< the comp troubles continue. marcus reckons the boot and performance problems are motherboard related, hence the new one. its a fancy looking board too.
so i was supposed to be home for 3. and i got there at 3 ON THE DOT. i told alice to be there for a pest guy to come and inspect the house for termites, but she wasnt home. BITCH. so i was expecting to wait around for half an hour or so for the guy to show up. but i was going to dure's house (first guy she has had round there) so i wanted to leave asap. but the guy had already been, there was a note from my dad. so i had a shower and left! o it was great too. she has a very nice house, and its so neat compaired to mine even if dure reckons its messy (wtf). a very cool room. damnit my room sucks. she made me dinner and a cake :) and we watched a bit of tv. and there was some extra fun to be had ofcourse, but that's where i stop being so in-depth ;) (sorry all hehehe) all i really need to say is: damn dure is sexy
so i left at 8:10 and had to wait at the train station with a bag that had half a chocolate cake and some tube roses :)
the train had young, drunk teenage girls who sang loudly and fell over.
