At first, I thought they were referring to you-know-what happens to Sai. But then I rethought it (is the US version of Hikago even that far?), and decided it might be talking about the Hikaru-Akira showdown at the Go Club tournament. But still...why would they give away something like that? I suppose they weren't thinking clearly. Because, obviously, anyone who gives Hikaru no Go the slightest bit of thought knows that Akira is the real hero of the series, not Hikaru. (insert fangirl fantasies here)
I wonder why so many people think I'm a pedophile whenever I mention how much I like Akira...(shifty eyes)

In other news, I watched the most recently subbed episode of Lemon Angel Project the other day. The art is worse than I remember, but I still love it. I laughed, I cried, I wondered angrily why no one has finished subbing this beautiful, beautiful anime when ten million groups are doing the Bleach and Naruto fillers <---probably not actually true, but it makes the point. "My dream is to eat a big cake! But when I open my eyes, it disappears." = best line ever! Along with: "Don't interefere, Stupid Fish!"/"What? Hey, it's not nice to nickname people like that!"/"Oooh, ooh, that was my idea! (beams)" Yes, I appreciate LAP's warped sense of humor. (is stared at)

Also watched some of Negima?! (not to be confused with the original Negima!, which was a shameless excuse for fanservice), which was unexpectedly pretty cool. The animation style is very fresh and innovative, and the plot looks a lot better now that they've cut out the fanservice and upped the magical action.

I'm thinking this should be my last big project for the break. I'm not really close to being done, but posting "progress" pics on lj gives me a false sense of accomplishment. (is sad like that). Roughly a half a day to a a day for each, I think? My computer's doing this funny thing where it doesn't respond to my clicks...need to look into this.

I'm trying to practice drawing on the computer. I really suck, though, so I usually have a sketchy under-drawing thing (points left) that I fade and trace over with a more finalized outline (points right). I found this drawing is rather troublesome because there's a lot of overlap between the three characters. Especially at the beginning, I kept having to fade lines in or out, change colors, or add outer glows in order to figure out what I was doing. I hope I learned something...haha...
Used a ton of layers. Still not done. Gah....
