Mood: Terribly unimpressed by the new Nine Inch Nails album.
Ick.
I feel like I'm one of those assholes who refuse to move-on in favor of obsessing over the nostalgia of the past to the exclusion of all contemporary pieces as though nothing could possibly hold a candle to what once was. I know a lot of people could not get over Pretty Hate Machine, but I've loved every album up to and including The Fragile, but this, this is just, well, not doing it for me. I do enjoy a few songs, but finding myself inclined towards only a fraction of a Nine Inch Nails album is like, like wanting to come up with a great analogy and just never piecing one together because my mind is just so blown and numb that a collection of Reznor's music should exist which I do not love.
