Today I saw a pigeon get run over. Its was so horrible. I was just on a street in the middle of leeds and I started crying and everyone was looking at me and it was all just really really horrible. I still feel sad. All I could do was imagine how hurting and frightened it must have been

*hugs* I would have cried too- I can't stand seeing animals die or get hurt. The other day I saw a really mangy stray cat on my way home and I wanted to take it home because it looked lonely- and when my roommate said it was rabid and gross I started to cry ;_;

awwww poor pigeon! poor girl! I've never seen it but I imagine it wasn't very pleasant! don't worry about the journal thing I've only JUST updated! now I'm off to collapse.

Two years ago, my mom was driving me to school and we saw what we thought was a dead rabbit on the road. As we drove closer, I realized that it wasnt dead yet and just its back had gotten run over. its arms were moving and everything, like it was still trying to crawl away, but its legs were compleatly crushed. I started BAWLING. I was actually late for my first class because I just couldnt stop crying.
So I understand your pain D:
I dont know what it is about animals, but its 10 times worse seeing them get hurt than humans (at least to me). Maybe its because they cant complain.

Oh my god that is so awful, I really feel for you!

One of the things thats so awful about when animals get run over is that it seems to unfair. It makes me get really angry at cars. Its like us humans have taken over the world and all these animals have to suffer for it ):

I am very, very sorry. Whenever I see a bird in the road, I stop to watch it and I don't know, somehow make sure it gets across. I don't know how it helps the bird but I can't look away.
