Apollo's London/Paris Adventure Part 1!
DAY 1+2:
The flight was about 8 hours long, and there was some pretty scary turbulence. Also, it was an overnight flight, so I didn't sleep (because I don't sleep in planes) for a good two days. The pressure didn't leave my ears on the descent, and they made us eat at midnight to get used to the change in the timezones. So, in a nutshell, I was feeling pretty shitty.
We got to the Paris Airport and hung around at a little waiting area for the bus that would take us to our flight change terminal.
We were all exhausted.
The paris Airport was actually rather nice in design. Our layover was a total of 5 hours, so at least we got something to look at when we weren't busy sleeping. I made the mistake of napping for half an hour, and when I woke up I felt even worse.
So I went to the bathrooms and threw up a bit, then brushed my teeth, and came back. I caught this lovely picture of Sabina and Nat taking a snooze on the waiting chairs. Aren't they so cute?
Then our second flight came. Flying from Paris to London takes only 45 minutes, and the plane we were on was rather small. I got a window seat, however, so it was really pretty.

As soon as we got there we made our way to our hotel, then to dinner. I was really hungry, and also not feeling too hot. My day was made, however, when we ended up at this place:
"Ye Old Cock Tavern."
It's a pub.
And we ate bangers and mash.
I laughed so hard.
Sabina really liked it too.

Outside the pub, we got to see our very first phone booth, in which Nat wasted no time in getting her first asian photo in.
After this, we basically got to our hotel and crashed. I was roomed with my good friend Sam (first picture, first girl to the left), and two other people I didn't really know. I didn't like this very much, because the other two girls were the make-up and boys type, but I didn't realize until later. The boys were visiting every night.
When I was trying to sleep.
I kicked them out on more then one occasion. BT
