I've lost 45 pounds! Fuck yeah! I'm so ecstatic, I could do the Snoopy dance. I'm also quite happy now that I've got dark hair again. I dunno what the hell my hair was; reddish/blonde/light brown/bronze/shitty. Whatever, I've got my dark brown hair back, and I feel like me again.
Also, I've discovered a love for Suzi's apple turnovers. Yumyum in my tumtum.
Also, I really FUCKING HATE Hot Topic. Number one, they don't sell Coheed and Cambria t-shirts. Number 2, the shit they do sell is ridiculously over priced. Number 3, they sell poser shit! I watched a "how to be scene' video by some "How to be scene" website on youtube and they were talking about how you should buy buttons at hot topic, but tell people you bought them at shows. It really pisses me off about all the shit I like, that these scene kids buy simply because it's cool to like it now. I always have and always will like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain Planet, X-Men, and Transformers, but it's cool to like them now that thye've hit 'retro' status, and people make fake vintage TMNT and Marvel t-shirts. Shirts you have to pay 30 fucking bucks to have. And not to mention, they had a paper thin plastic X-Men wallet at Hot Topic that they were selling for 15 bucks. FIFTEEN DOLLARS! I'd pay 5-7. That's it. And they were selling a scarf that was purposely ripped and torn and tattered and poorly made for 17 dollars. Why would you pay out the ass to look like you bought something at a thrift store? I wanna go to a real thrift store and buy shit. Hell, one of my all time favorite shirts I bought at a thrift store. It just really irritates me that people wanna shell out the big bucks to look like they didn't spend shit and don't care about how they look when in reality, they care more than most people. BE YOUR-FUCKING-SELF AND STOP CARING WHAT OTHERS THINK! I love that it's cool to be a geek now, but it's a bittersweet victory for us nerds. On the plus side, we're getting more recognition, and people are realizing that we're not all awkward losers who live in their parents' basement. On the negative side, there are tons of 'wannageeks' coming outta the woodwork because Iron Man was so cool, and X-Men was badass, and Seth Rogen, the everyman, is making millions of bucks. I'm happy for ya Seth, you're the fucking man, but dammit, these people who, if we went to high school together, would've made fun of me for wearing a Wolverine shirt, are asking me questions about the things I've loved since I was a kid because now it's cool to like them... ugh. It just irritates me. I'm sorry for ranting, but it irks the fuck outta me.
