So, I had a job interview this past Monday, and I felt like I did really well. Even if I don't get the job, I at least gained vindication about my job hunt. The HR lady who interviewed me was very nice and very supportive of my stress of the job hunt. She told me that everyone has to start somewhere and I shouldn't be embarrassed of my lack of relevant experience in a given area. She said some employers prefer those with less experience. I can only assume that's because they have fewer bad habits and they can be molded into what the employer wants. But anyways, yeah...job interview went well. I'll probably be hearing for the 2nd interview soon.
In other job news, my friend Chanel may be able to get me work in doing something that I have the most experience in. Working with the autistic. I'm going to sit in on one of her behavioral therapy sessions next Tuesday and see if it's something I could see myself doing. Yay.
