5:00 am Wednesday on payday and I already have over $1,000.00 of bills paid this morning. That does a good job on putting a big dent in the old paycheck. The whole being gone on leave from work part ended up working out okay yesterday because I took care of it all before GM came on at work. My doctor wrote me off work until the 17th. On the 17th I can return to work without restriction. I joined a health club last night that has a hot pool. My doctor recommended it. I have a feeling that this is not the end of the whole being off thing, the way my snake-like supervisor GM treated me the other day when I was in there, he was acting the same way he did right around the time of my suspension. But, having been through what I have, I also think I tend to be a little paranoid and over sensitive sometimes, but things being what they are, a person in my position cannot be too careful. I still need their freaking paycheck, for a little while.
I looked at a new minivan while I was off, but I have decided to hold off for a while. I just want to get my RAV4 paid off, then the other two bills (atty and student loan) and then I will be in terrific financial shape. Basically the way I see it, the RAV will probably be paid off first, then I will take money I allow for my car payment every month right now and apply that to the attorney fee and get that paid down, then take what I currently pay the car payment and the attorney and pay that to the student loan until it is all paid off. Then I can do what I want with my money. By that time I will probably need a new car. Ultimately, if the RAV lasted that long, I would like to get all of those bills paid, and pick myself up either a boat or an inexpensive corvette or save so I could buy my dad’s corvette from him or buy it from his estate if anything ever happened to him. When my dad and I spend time together, we love to play with and work on his corvette. We have had some fond memories together with that car.
Anyway, I have another physical therapy appointment this morning, I am going to go try out the new health club membership, and I have to go to the bank to get a cashier’s check (for the above mentioned attorney) and go to the post office to mail my bills, so I have a busy morning this morning. Right now I am just sitting here writing in my live journal waiting for everything to open…….
