Who sings that song? Whenever I hear it, a goofy grin grows on my face and I just feel the beats rising up from my toes. "And then we'll take it high-a!". I've stopped being embarrassed when I get caught gyrating in my car at a red light. If it makes people feel better about themselves, well then there you go.
I had this terrible dream the other night that this fat woman stole my records. And she was sooo mean about it. She told me that in order for me to get my records back, I would have to pay her $1 a record. So, I looked down at my hands and I had these things that appeared to be quarters, but were in fact silver dollars.
This sounds like a job for The Dreamer's Dictionary by Lady Stearn Robinson and Tom Corbett
Record:
"To dream of a record player or tape recorder is a sign of a deteriorating love affair."
Fat:
"Although some of the ancient prophets believed this dream to be a forerunner to an illness, the more modern ones agree that it predicts a happy life of few worries and many pleasures and that the fatter you (or others) were in your dream, the better is the omen."
Dollar:
"A silver dollar or dollars mean good luck in your current interests."
So, I take this to mean that my deteriorating love affair will be saved by a fat woman with the luck of silver dollars.
This dictionary of dreams is officially lame.
