Conclusion
Returned from CMU, after an unexpected night in a hotel due to engine mechanical failure on my intended flight and a homeland security F-15 escort due to an emergency landing caused passenger heart failure on my replacement flight. Pittsburgh is beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Graduation is a week from Saturday. My robe arrived today. I'll be all snazzy at the ceremony. But I have many pages of dissertation to write before I sleep.
