Back to Old Blighty
Just two more days until I go to Britain for a holiday. This will be my first visit to the Old Country since emigrating to New Zealand in 2004.
I'm there for three weeks, mostly visiting family and friends, with a side trip to Glastonbury in the second week - somewhere I've always wanted to visit (other than for work purposes).
It will be strange to see just what has changed and what has remained the same since I left. I'm not a terribly nostalgic person, but I have been missing the good old English country pubs, so I plan on visiting as many as I can while I'm there. I'm also hoping to visit a couple of heritage steam railways in the south of England.
