Storm!
Looks like we're in for a wild night in Auckland. A storm front that's been moving across the North Island all day has just arrived here, bringing torrential rain and gusts of up to 100km/hr. Its quite a change from the hot, sunny weather we've been enjoying for the last month. Even though I got soaked limping from the taxi to my front door, I'm finding it quite exhilarating!
I'm back at work part-time, just doing 4 hours a day until my knee's better. The NZ ACC scheme even pays for taxis to-and-from work for me. I could get used to this!
