Still Alive
Well, I managed to drive all the way from the Western suburbs of Auckland back to my workplace (steering only) without killing anyone. Not bad for a first lesson.
Next lesson is on Friday 4 April (Auckland drivers beware!). The instructor was very good as well as being a complete extravert, which kind of helped because his non-stop chatter took my mind off the fact that I was driving down a busy street for the first time! I actually found it quite exhilarating.
Thankfully, the adrenaline surge caused my tiredness to vanish for a while, though I'll probably collapse into a gibbering heap when it finally wears off!
