Perhaps time is discontinuous. We merely perceive each moment as flowing before the next in a perpetual river of motion, when in actuality each moment is a universe unto itself, eternal and immutable. Every thought a raindrop suspended in an endless painting of that one intense explosion of energy we call a moment, in which sight-sound-touch-being all collide and maintain the state of ecstacy. Meanwhile the human soul is the point of motion, wandering from moment to moment in an endless search for meaning. We are born, we meet, we love, we die, we take on new forms, we continue the journey through time all the while thinking it is time that flitters so quickly by.
