Youth Gone Wild
Sittin' here at work with about 53 minutes left on the clock. Thangs have been slow when I got in but all of a sudden thangs picked up about an hour ago. It's been pretty quiet this summer thus far but something jumped off today which got us to be on point. Typical young folks drama. Speaking of which, another youngster passed away the other night. He was stabbed in the Excelsior...another youngster lost to violence.It seems every summer the cycle just continues, not only where we at but all over. The solution, I believe, is obviously simple. Provide programs and activities to keep our youngsters busy. It ain't no new revelation coz this been going on. We just gotta stay on point and aware of what's goin' down in our respective 'hoods.
