The picked designs are just SHIT.
All of them, sorry but that is it. I've been browsing the thread in the Bulletin Board earlier and I've seen MANY more gorgeous and stunning creations I just think the mars guys got blind. Or don't have any taste in graphic.
I'm not talking 'cause I didn't win, baby, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN.
I can print my own tee if I want, and print it for all the people I want. Ok, the free tickets and meet and great would have been great, but there was no chance to see them in Italy "early" so it would have been wasted.
One of the tees will be disqualified? I AM HAPPY WITH THAT. Sorry for Ponke, I know her and she's nice, but I've spent 4 hours on my design, she took a pattern in a forum and modified it. Unlucky girl, that was a SONIC YOUTH tee. It is right for her to be turned over.
So many talented artists (I am lucky 'cause I know and admire some of them) have been discharged for this.
That's insane, and anyone should know that when it comes up to "competitions" the internet is tricky. DO THINGS ON YOUR OWN. Can't do them? Drop. Don't have enough time to come up with something you could do? Drop. Don't risk.
The rabbitt design is just... well I don't like rabbitts at all and the whole colour-scheme is *awk*. Not original.
The second one is definitely NOT for a tee. Will they adjust the pattern to all the shirt? Please...
The third one is a JARED shirt. And it is meaningless to me.
The fourth will be kicked out.
The fifth is just blah. The skull didn't come out good. Nice the heraldic idea, but that's old stuff.
I regret that TeachJoanne didn't submit her [FANGIRL] design. That would have been really better.
Another "something to do" has turned into "something to blame"
Oh, well now. Back to real life. I'm not the one who looses.
