Please keep in mind that this code has rules, fandoms, and personalized guides for what I as a writer chose to display. Make sure, before posting your own, that you make any applicable changes to yours. Anything that you find in my guidelines that you might not agree with or like, things you want to add, changing which fandoms you know...

But why didn't you make it all blank and magical for us?
Simple. I spent forever putting the original code together, and I've spent the last five hours setting up this comm. There's only so much HTML one set of human eyes can handle! It's pretty easy to follow, though, and adjust how you see fit.

You can even change up the prompts, or how you handle them. Don't wanna use a one word prompt that's already there? Replace it. Link to a song, a proverb that provokes thought... Seriously, guys, this is like a freewriting community challenge or something magical like that.

Guidelines/Rules/Whatever


1. To request fic, simply fill out the short form found in the grabbable html section below this list of rules and the list of fandoms. Make sure the prompt you requested is STILL AVAILABLE. If it's not greyed out in the table itself and there's been someone who requested the table at highest priority before you, I will comment and allow you your next preferred choice.

2. Do not under any circumstances hound me about timing on these fics. They will vary in length, and as such, may take anywhere from one day to the entire year. The point of this challenge is to fill as many requests as possible between now and December 31st, 2011. The more you bug me, the less likely I am to finish your fic in a timely manner.

3. Try not to request fic from fandoms I don't know. A list of (largely television, few book) fandoms I do know is provided below. Films would take far too long to list, so if you'd like a character included from a film fandom please just let me know and if I know it, I'll go with it. If I don't, I'll respond saying as much and request the same information outlined in 3a below.
3a.If you have something you really, really, really want from a fandom I'm not familiar with, please provide resource links such as wikis, and if you can provide them, links where I can watch the series. Even videos of character clips for a specific character you'd like will do - just so long as I'm able to learn enough about them from what you give me to properly capture the voice. I am not making any promises with this, but I'll at least make an effort to research what I can and give it a shot.


4. Please don't ask me to include a longer list of my known manga/anime/comics/video games. I'm going to be working with live action television, books, and film (there are exceptions but only a couple). HOWEVER: If your requests are based off of ROLEPLAY, and your character is from a fandom not included in the main mediums/genres, THAT IS OKAY! Just make sure you let me know the fandom is listed simply because the character or pairing is coming from a roleplaying environment.

5. Throughout the course of the year, you may request NO MORE THAN 5 total fics to be written for you. This number is subject to change depending on the kind of response I get from people, how many requests. There are only 200 fic slots, and while I'm not positive that everything will fill up (I'm guessing it won't), I'd like for there to be a chance for everyone to get as close to their first choices as possible.

6. When filling out the form, be sure to fill out each section as concisely, but accurately, as possible. Fandoms, characters, which should be pairings, which shouldn't, whether this is based in roleplaying background or not, etc. - These are all crucial details in getting you a fic result that you'll love! And that's what I'm going for here.

7. I DO NOT write slash under ANY circumstances. Femmeslash is subject to scrutiny (there are certain femmeslash pairings I will write, and certain ones I won't; it's also circumstantial - depending on the prompt I may be more likely to okay a pairing than I would if it were a prompt that didn't necessarily allow for a realistic progression of whatever prior relationship was there into the femmeslash area). Slash pairing requests will be responded to with an apology and an offer to switch to a different pairing; I'd like to avoid this as much as possible, so I would appreciate it if in your initial request, you don't ask for them. It saves time for the both of us.

Fandom(s): Include a simple list of the fandoms you wish to have included, with the prompt number attached in parenthesis. Example: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Supernatural (###), Charmed/Moonlight (###), etc.

Character(s) Involved: A list of the characters you want included. This is also where you'll specify pairing(s) if you want them. You will also need to attach the number of the prompt in parenthesis here. Example: Buffy Summers/Dean Winchester + Dawn Summers, Sam Winchester, Bobby Singer (###), Phoebe Halliwell/Josef Kostan + Coraline (###), etc.

Special Requests: This is where you will tell me any specific things you might like or NOT like included. If your prompt seems to err on the side of smutty, you might want to include a list of squicks and/or triggers here. If your prompt might lean toward violence/horror/etc, again, I can't avoid triggers if I don't know what yours are - so let me know here. This is ALSO where you will include if what you want me to write HAS TO DO WITH SOMETHING YOU (or your and I) HAVE ROLEPLAYED OUT, either in a game or a private storyline, etc. Let me know here. If it's a game that I am not in, or a pairing in which I didn't participate, pay close attention to the supplemental section!

Supplemental Material: Here is where, if you request a fandom and I don't wind up knowing it, you will link me wikis, resources, places to watch, character clips, etc. If you want me to write something based on character relationships built in a game where I'm not, or between characters I'm not involved with (which is A-OKAY by the way, just so long as you...), PLEASE include a list of links to various threads/logs/what have you so that I've got an idea of the dynamic between the characters involved!
