After yesterday's rant, I'm glad to see you're still here.
I turned on the radio tonite, and what should be playing? "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" by Meatloaf. I was like WOOHOO! I hadn't heard that song in a while. It brought back quite a few APO memories. Me stunning the crowd at George Mason when I called Jamie a bitch. The drunk JMU brother at my conference. Amy, Lisa, Lauren... good times, good times.
Today was a quiet day at work. Thankfully, Pete was not being as controlling as usual.
If you are wondering why I am so distraught over all this, I made a vow when I left college that I was going to enjoy my job. Let's face it. Plenty of people get up and go to work when they loathe or hate what they do. I was not going to be one of those people. When I got a job, it would be one I would want. If it got to the point where I didn't like it, then I would get a new one. I hope things work out for me with the two state jobs.
