Got to go to Oneonta this weekend with Ed and Shannon and found that roadtripping is quite fun really. Missed the Uncle Sam day parade here in the 'Burgh, our annual day that we celebrate our City's founder. Oh well. There's always next year! Appropriate, too, that it was held on September 11th, a day when we remember those we lost four years ago. It's hard to believe that it's been four years since the attacks on our country. And now we've got Hurricane Katrina to deal with. Don't even begin to get me started on that. So Oneonta was fun; I got to travel out there and visit the brothers from the Xi Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. They're a great little chapter-they've only got four brothers, but they're still really cool! This is going to be a rather long week, one in which I hope to make all my bills (don't ask, another long story). I might be going over to the Alpha Delta Eta chapter at UAlbany for cultural night on Wednesday and then there's bowling on Thursday. And then the Larkfest Afterparty on Saturday....*winks*. Will be exciting; considering it's like my first party ever. Or at least my first Ed party. And I've gotten a new cell phone, so I'm spending all my time playing with that. It's a flip phone. You get the idea. *winks* *meows*. Oh yeah, can't end this post without wishing my parental units a Happy 24th Wedding Anniversary. Seems strange to be talking about that when it seemed like in high school, all of my classmates' parents were either separated or divorced. Talk about being odd girl out! Okay, tis nearly bedtime. I'd actually rather like to get some decent sleep. Catch y'all on the flip side!
