Heh, love the way Kara knew just how to work the Old Man to her advantage.

Just wanted to say that I read the prologue and chapter 1 last night and had the strangest dreams, so when I woke up I immediately started back in on this story. I'm really loving it and looking forward to more!!

Kara and Sam's relationship is interesting...I don't read it often, but this feels very real. Kara's stop start business and Sam's continuing to come back. Off to read more.

I definitely didn't want to just write off Sam right away in this story or use him as just someone to cockblock Lee/Kara. I'm not a big Kara/Sam shipper but I can see why they worked, and why she wanted and loved him, as well as the reasons why she pushes him away sometimes, too.
