A link between Earth and the Star Wars Galaxy
Remember E.T.? Of course you do. Everyone knows about the alien who befriended Elliot. I bet you didn't know that E.T. was a native of the Star Wars Galaxy. Its true.
Apparently, E.T. comes from a planet in the Star Wars Galaxy known as Brodo Asogi. Apparently right around the time of the clone wars, Galatic Senator Grebleips of the same sent an expedition to another galaxy. They sent a bunch of natives of the planet (Species name was Children of the Green Planet) to another galaxy to collect plant life to bring back and help their ecosystem. This journey ended up visiting Earth, and as we all know one member of this expedition was accidentally left behind when they attempted to leave. This member is the being we now know as ET.
How do we know that ET comes from this galaxy? It is the only logical conclusion based on the evidence. We know from an edition of Holo Net that Senator Greblieps sent the expedition. We can assume that the trade federation or the techno union may have funded part of the journey, since ET's spaceship is very similar in design to ships used by the trade federation. We know from Episode 1 that Greblieps is of the same species as ET, thus providing the connection between the two worlds. Additonally, we also now know that ET has knowledge of the force, because he force healed Elliot's cut on the sawblade, and he uses the force to levitate the clay "planet" balls and also assemble the various parts of the communicator, much the same way a Jedi would assemble a lightsaber. And the way the communicator pieces fit showed knowledge of technology beyond our realm, but very consistent with that found in various parts of the Star Wars galaxy. Since we also know that humans are force sensitive, its possible the bond between ET and Elliot used telekentic abilities of the force, and that Elliot himself may have even been force sensitive. And we also know that he shared these abilities with his own kind, hence the healing power when they were near.
Additionally, when ET went out trick or treating, you may have noticed him chasing after the kid dressed as Yoda. This is probably because ET recognized the species from the Star Wars galaxy, and thought that he would lead him home.
Amazing. We know that Star Wars took place a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. And we also know that during the time an expedition was sent to another galaxy, which we know now is the milky way galaxy. And know we know that ET was part of this expedition from the Star Wars galaxy. Had he stayed home, who knows what the Empire would have done to him after the republic fell?
