:D I think I've asked for this prompt in every Apocalyptothon I've participated in, and I'm happy just to see it fulfilled--but this was better than I ever expected! I love your choice to have Kaylee narrate (not the first option I'd have thought of but now that I do I can't think of anyone better). It's got a beautiful story-teller's rhythm and a smooth flow, and the little details sell it. I love River stopping Wash from throwing out his toys!
