You rock! You completely and totally rock and I love you! lol I was hoping this prompt would get picked, and imagine my delight when I saw it was by an author I was familiar with?

I loved Jack hallucinating the others, and not believing that The Tardis and The Doctor are real... especially since I firmly believe Jack is a social creature and would go completely batshit if he was alone for that long...

I also adore the end, where it leaves it hanging on whether it's real or another hallucination... I'm chosing to believe real... lol...

Phew, it's always a relief when the recipient likes what's been written. I have to admit, I was very nervous - I went shopping right after I'd posted the story and kept thinking things like 'Oh God, should I have warned for the consumption of sentient beings?' and 'Argh, I just realised... it's a crossover!' and the usual stupid flailing about.

I do enjoy leaving things with ambiguous endings. While there's the shiny happy me who wants Jack to land on the floor of the Tardis, there's also the evil twisted me who wants Jack to plummet, screaming "Bastaaaaaaar*crunch*!"

I know the feeling... this is my third year doing this, the first year just as a pinch hitter, last year with an assigned fic, and this year with one assignment and one pinch hit... and every year I panic thinking "Oh God... they're gonna hate it. it's not what they want. I suck. Oh God..." lol...

I literally burst out laughing at "Bastaaaaaaar*crunch*!" lol...

Oooh, this is good. Seriously. I love the half-mad Jack - sounding so sane about it all, yet it's completely off kilter. Part of me wishes you'd write what comes after, but most of me just thinks the ending is brilliant *beams*

He is completely bonkers, poor man. No doubt he'll recover, eventually :)

I really enjoyed reading this - as the previous comment said, Jack sounds so sane while he's off his rocker! All of the characters sound very much like themselves, and the open ending is brilliant imho.

Thank you :) I've come across more than one person who seems completely fine until they start explaining how the neighbours walk though the walls to spy on them. Much scarier than gibbering insanity O.o

This is totally fantastic. It made me *hurt* for Jack while still laughing uproariously.

Thank you :) I used to write terribly serious fiction, but these days I cannot resist dropping some humour into pretty much everything I write. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you :) I almost gave up and wrote something else when S3 happened, but I'm glad I didn't.

I'm very glad you didn't - Ianto was my favourite character and not having his halucination in this would have made it less enjoyable for me! OTOH Jack's off his nut (in his oh-so-sane way) so I guess you could say it doesn't exclude CoE having happened ... we'll just assume any bits that don't fit are the insane bits, right?

Thanks for giving great fic :)
