Decadent and depraved and done

Production deadlines! Graduation looming! Fundraiser withdrawal symptoms! Also, I think ate something bad and my stomach's objecting.

(...Is this clock right? What time is it right now?)

wdmjen was telling me about her party-postpartum depression... hard to believe that despite naysayers and the cold and the shadow of spring masthead hovering above our heads, it's OVER and we raised upwards of $2000, making the class of 2007 only, what, the most successful moneymakers in the history of the magazine. And nobody bothered filming it for the electronic yearbook... You know, I think it'd be fun to do an end-of-year photoshoot inspired by Vanity Fair's Hollywood portfolio. Hahaha. I loved "Killers Kill, Dead Men Die"... imagine if Billiam turned up dead, and the whole masthead was under suspicion, but it eventually comes to light that he faked his death to escape an angry walrus? Hee.

Anyway, Tuesday was good times, what with not failing the media ethics midterm ("Are you sure this is out of 25 and not 50?"), the field trip ("I'm carrying firearms in a Dollarama bag."), the Raq and the raffle ("What did you win?" "Therapy."), and the fact that the Earl actually showed up (surrounded by an adoring harem... of men HAHAHA). Actually, I was thrown by the number of random people who came out to support us - the online journalism prof! the student council prez! a familiar face from drama class!

So... mostly angst-free right now, except for the whole OMG FACT-CHECKING and the OH SHIT I'M GRADUATING things.

Moving on to the linkspam:

Henry VIII gets a lot of booty. And listens to Evanescence.

Tudormania continues: ScarJo is not just the Other Boleyn Girl - she's also Mary Queen of Scots. And a gladiatrix. WHAT.

I may get my Cillian/Keira movie after all, but LINDSAY LOHAN HELL NOOOOOOO.

Piz from VM joins Grey's spinoff.

I really like the Premonition poster.

Unlikely friendship: 130-year-old giant tortoise and orphan baby hippo.

Sunny hilarity.
