Now they've got to find an archangel who doesn't want to be found, and in the process, nearly destroy the entire world.

Summary: When the rumors started of people falling sick, turning feral, and trying to eat other people reached Jack, he was a three thousand miles from Eureka, having been fired by Eva Thorne a few months earlier. He was also three thousand miles away from a man that he thought he despised until he realized that he wasn't jealous of Nathan marrying Allison, but of Allison marrying Nathan.
At the same time, Nathan had just saved the world from a different kind of apocalypse - of the time related variety - and in doing so he realized that it wasn't Allison that he wanted either. He was in love with a man he thought he despised - Jack Carter.
Now, with the world descending into the nightmare of a zombie apocalypse, Jack and Nathan find themselves thrown together in a desperate escape from Washington, D.C., and the equally hazardous journey home to Eureka.

It states that once every five years, it is an angel’s right to descend from heaven and, as payment for their peace, take one human Sacrifice per celestial being. The collection shall last through one full passing of the lunar cycle and every Sacrifice shall be blessed with a mark from Heaven by their Selector.
The angel comes for Sam Winchester on a Thursday. Sammy says the mark is burning and Dean knows it's time.
