Outside Jono's Tent, Glacia, Tuesday Evening Fandom Time

Jul 30, 2013 22:53

It had taken longer than Jonothon had intended to get back to Glacia. He'd left Fandom late, finding it more difficult than usual to will himself out of bed on Monday morning. And then there had been the ridiculous Portalocity itinerary that, really, he would just rather never think about again. He had seen a lot of bloody terrifying things in his lifetime, but being in the middle of Hong Kong while a pair of giant monsters crawled out of the sea to decimate it was high on the list of 'let's please never repeat that experience again.' Granted, it had helped to temporarily get his mind off of the weekend, but by the time he stumbled back into camp, three days late by Glacia's reckoning, he was more tired and wrung-out than he'd been when he'd started the trip. The one that had supposedly been intended to help him relax.

Sleeping wasn't a thing that was going to happen just yet, though. He was back to Glacia, back to war, and if he was going to be leading troops up North in order to protect civilians from Hobart's attacks, then he had a lot of preparations to make, and he was already late getting a start on them.

If anyone needed Jono, he was sitting in front of his tent, staring tiredly at some maps of Northern Glacia and figuring out where he was going to assign certain soldiers, or... or... something.

God, he was tired.
