so i was on vacation last week, and matthew and i went down to asheville, north carolina to visit my beautiful friend cat.
we stayed at warren wilson college in a suite that cat's friends were living in. the beds were soooooooooooo uncomfortable, and the first night we were there the fucking light was on all night + we forgot a blanket, and all we could do was stuff our heads underneath our pillow and freeze.
we explored a lot & ate so much junk food. it was AWESOME.
this was my primary source of nourishment:
we also ate munchos and twizzlers and cigarettes. lots & lots of cigarettes.
cat introduced cheerwine to us, which is mighty tasty.
we woke up one morning by taking pictures of each other.
we are so cute:
lots of body art went on:
emma started out drawing a cat coming out of nicole's pants, but then it turned into a cat-like gary coleman.
catherine drew a pair of intelligent tits on my foot.
we visited a tattoo parlor at one point so elyse could get her nose pierced.
matthew pointed out a particular tattoo that he fancied.
partying took place at night. it never occured to me to bring my camera with me at night, but some absolutely crazy shit went down. i jumped into the pond on campus almost nekkid (i had on panties. i might have been drunk and loosey goosey, but that doesn't mean i'm not afraid of fish swimming around my coochie.) the night after that matthew & i participated in a game of strip spin the bottle in the pavillion. by the end of the game EVERYONE was completely naked except for two people that were half naked. lots of voyeurs & mosquitoes hung around. weirdest part of all? everyone was sober.

our last day there we went to the early girl to eat lunch. they had some pretty decent vegan bean burgers.
when we came back to the car after eating, we found this christian pamphlet thing.
kitty & i said our goodbyes.
the drive home:
it ended up raining a little bit and a rainbow appeared.
all in all, it was a righteous time.
i'm going to miss the hairy legs and broken beds.
