I slept for fifteen hours. I woke up several times during, mostly due to phone calls from people. I remembered what my sister told me about just how much stress it is for your body to wake up - each time you wake up, a release of cortisol is needed. I noticed it got harder for me to get to sleep with each phone call and got concerned about that, so I put the cell phone on silent.
I woke up at 6:00 not knowing whether it was morning or evening. Nuts.
I should enjoy the feeling while it lasts because tonight is probably going to be an all-nighter. The Geology I have to read is some of the driest shit I've read yet. Glaciation won't be so bad, but things like rotating gneiss with schistocity indicated the lack of a certain mineral in....blah. Very hard to visualize some of this shit.
Okay, time to...
-Do Arabic homework and writing assignment
-Do the online fire safety test
-Get gym clothes
-Do the Geology dance
Omarly yours,
Omar.
P.S. - I'm thinking about changing my writing topic to something concerning Iceland. Linguistic evolution? Energy usage and sources?
sleep,
